The Dobroye municipality is a modern district with an advanced social infrastructure, well-developed public areas, unique landscapes, and a high investment potential.

Founded in 1928, the district is situated in the center of the Lipetsk Region and borders the Lipetsk, Lev Tolstoy, Gryazi, Lebedyan, and Chaplygin districts, as well as the Tambov Region.

It is located in a forest steppe area, with 28,408 ha of forestland, 40% of which are pine forests.

The district comprises 17 communities, including 45 villages.
